Because of the weather and the fact that some grounds are better drained than others, we have been re-allocated a ground for this weekends game against Marist-Albion.
From the delights of Middleton Park, we are now at Nunweek Park 3 at 2-45pm.
For those that are unsure where that is, there is a map below.
The cumpolsory evening at Keastys is still on where Lars is scheduled to be our Player of the Day. A nice surprise as he's also a New Boy following his recent trip to Australia.

Phil advises that training tonight has been transferred to the Bush Inn Hotel at 6-00pm because the CCC have closed South Hagley as advised earlier.
At this stage Saturdays game is on, even though Middleton Park is still closed. Final decision on the game / ground will be made at 1-00pm tomorrow. Stay tuned.
If the game is cancelled, the cumpolsory evening at Keastys is still on.
Canterbury coaches Rob Penney and Tabai Matson today named a 35-man squad to contest the 2009 Air New Zealand Cup.
Some of the players named in the squad are injured and may not be available for the first game of the season – against North Harbour at Albany on August 1 – and some players named are with the All Blacks and could have limited game time during the season.
There are several newcomers to the squad, including wing Tu Umaga-Marshall, No8 Ash Parker, halfback Willie Heinz, hooker Will Catherwood, lock Luke Romano, prop Andrew Olorenshaw, prop Rodney Ah You, flanker Matt Todd, wing Chris Small and fullback Sam Monaghan.
Head coach Penney said: “We are really pleased with the quality of players we have in the squad. There is a good mix of young guys and more experienced players. We are sure that they will turn their talent into good performances on the training and playing fields.

The C.C.C. have today closed a few grounds but left others open. Middleton Park has been one of those closed and will remain closed until further notice.
Hopefully the weather will abate to allow it to re-open in time for our game this Saturday. If there is a ground location change, it will notified as soon as possible.
North and South Hagley are also closed and this will affect training tomorrow. Check will Phil as to alternative arrangements.
Current ground closures are here.

Johnny has finally cornered Stroudy and got a date lined up for the Brewery Evening. It's been an anxious wait for some but like everything, the good things come to those who wait.
